unless otherwise marked, open on every top-level to canonmates, crosscanon, ocs, crossmediums, etc. best way to contact is through the pm system or feel free to comment on this post if the pm formatting (lack thereof) is too crunched. generally prefer dramatic/charged scenes and/or PSLs.
obvious sometimes exceptions: texting posts, question for a question, etc.
as far as 'canon', heavy preference for zhongli whether as zhongli or throwing it back to rex lapis og. this ship is my ride or die in genshin, hands down, so favoritism to it is on the table for everyone to see. almost any verse, au, what-if -- i'm probably down for it. royalty aus. dragon!zhongli. modern aus. reincarnation based verses. they lend themselves very, very well to so many things and the truth is, as with all my favorite ships, i'd do every single one.bless 2.7
out of left field: some curiosity for albedo in the sense of whether an alchemist and homunculus would have any interest in an adepti/yaksha that kind of FascinatingTM angle.
niche but can be worked with: tartaglia (one obvious tie-in being their individual bonds with zhongli).
venti is a case by case scenario. canon-wise xiao is 100% indebted to him for saving him, and xiao being indebted to gods is just a Thing ig. i think a guardian angel au w/ him and xiao could b interesting, esp if it was compounded by the truth being venti isn't an angel -- he's just venti/barbatos and he's lived into modern times and finds xiao reincarnated and decided to pawn himself off as his guardian angel. maybe it's the first time barbatos has seen anyone of the old guard reincarnate, maybe no one thought it could even happen. could be interesting, and over time throughout the verse xiao would start to 'remember' things but as he remembers he also becomes 'more' xiao, more alatus. and his karma would return with it. and all the "fun" that would entail. tl;dr just a thought~
other interests likely yeses: kaeya, aether, and anyone previously threaded with where it feels it lends towards that (looking at you, diluc and scaramouche lol).
exceptions: if we've got established cr from other threads and can see how it would work, or we've pre-discussed that we are going There /going to give it a shot.

outside of canon, fairly case by case. works decently with other supernaturals assuming he doesn't try to conquer/exorcise them first.
favored memes: stray, bodyguard, nursed back to health, hanahaki, covered in blood
favored devices: memory loss, servitude/debt, fast-forward to 'modern era' where xiao is still alive and fulfilling that contract, red string/soulmates, time-limit, guardian angels, angels and demons.....
etc: one-off scenes such as having to be killed because corrupted karma really is a bitch, on-going PSLs where xiao must interact with your character due to [insert plot device, usually life threatening] since god knows he'll just vanish on you otherwise probably...
